Steven Joung

Steve Joung, a seasoned venture capitalist, is the Managing Principal and Founder of Archon Capital LLC. With extensive experience in real estate and technology, he serves as the Executive Chairman of Power Kiosk, an energy software leader. Steve co-founded Pangea Properties REIT, scaling its assets to nearly $1 billion. His diverse background includes roles as COO at Enova Financial, founding board member of Avant.com, and active engagement in Hyde Park Angels and Restor3d medical devices. Contributing significantly to Chicago’s business community, Steve is part of the YPO and the Economic Club of Chicago. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is also a skilled Private Pilot.
Phillip Liu, MD

Phillip Liu, the Vice President of Healthcare at Atomic since January 2021, has a rich background in healthcare, biotech, and digital health. His role at Atomic involves pioneering healthcare through innovative methods and technology. At McKinsey & Company, Phillip served as an Engagement Manager (Jan 2018 – Dec 2020), focusing on biotech, biopharma, medtech, and venture capital. He also worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at Duke University Health System (Jan 2015 – Jan 2018), concentrating on value-based care and oncology medtech R&D. Educationally, Phillip holds a BA in Biology and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, specializing in Health Sector Management. He also earned an MD from Duke NUS Medical School. Phillip’s combination of medical, business, and innovation expertise makes him a valuable figure in healthcare and venture capital sectors.
